Registered Nurse – Fixed Term (12+ Months) | 32 Hours | Afternoon Shifts Only | Papanui

At Bupa Parklands Care Home in Papanui, this is a 12+ month fixed-term opportunity where you’ll work consistent afternoon shifts, 32 hours per week, on a predictable 4 on / 2 off roster. No rotating shifts.

This role will suit a nurse who is confident managing a shift, guiding care staff, and delivering consistent, high-quality resident care. You’ll be trusted to run your afternoons, manage clinical priorities, and maintain strong oversight of resident wellbeing.

You’re comfortable with the flow of aged care. You understand how to balance clinical tasks with team coordination and know how to keep a shift running smoothly. Most importantly, you value stability and want a role where you can focus on doing the job well.

Hours & Roster Details:

• Employment Type: Fixed Term Full Time from Aug 2026 to September 2027 (12+ Months)
• Hours: Average 32 Hours per Week
• Shift Time: Afternoon Shifts
• Roster Pattern: 4 shifts on, 2 shifts off (6-weekly roster across Monday - Sunday)

Skills and Qualifications

• Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
• Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
• Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
