Permanent Part-Time Registered Nurse | 3 On, 5 Off Roster | Afternoon & Night Shifts | Cedar Manor Care Home, Tauranga

If you’re an experienced Registered Nurse who values structure, consistency, and genuine time off to recharge, this is a role designed around you. At Bupa Cedar Manor Care Home in Tauranga, this permanent part-time opportunity offers a rare balance just three shifts, followed by five days off, giving you the space to recover, reset, and enjoy life outside of work without compromise.

This role is ideal for a clinically confident nurse who performs at their best in a calm, structured environment and enjoys the rhythm of afternoon and night shifts. You’ll be someone who doesn’t need constant oversight, who can think clearly and act decisively when it matters, and who takes pride in delivering high-quality care during the quieter hours where your presence makes a real difference. Your ability to assess, prioritise, and respond to resident needs with professionalism and composure will set you apart, alongside your strong clinical judgement, attention to detail, and commitment to continuity of care.

Hours & Roster Details:

• Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time
• Hours: Average 21 Hours Per Week
• Shift Time: 1 x Afternoon (2:45pm–11:15pm) + 2 x Night Shifts (11:00pm–7:00am)
• Roster Pattern: 3 shifts on, 5 shifts off (8-weekly roster across Monday - Sunday)

Your Person-First Approach:

You’ll help us make a real difference through your RN experience, personal passion, and empathy.

• Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
• Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
• Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
• A compassionate nurse who strives for excellence and to make an impact in residents’ lives.

• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
