Bayside Health is a public health service delivering high-quality care across every stage of life for close to 1.2 million people living in metropolitan Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, Koo Wee Rup, Bass Coast and Southern Gippsland. The Department
The Alfred Centre Operating Suite consists of 9 Operating Rooms (including a Hybrid Suite) and 2 Procedure Rooms. It is a state-of-the-art elective surgery and diagnostic facility that is wholly linked and integrated with The Alfred.
The Operating Suite staff aim to provide holistic, patient-centred nursing care that meet the needs of each individual patient. Strong interdisciplinary communication provides continuity and excellence in nursing care.
The Role
We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our team who have experience in Peri-operative nursing. The Alfred Centre Operating Suite is a busy elective day procedure environment which consists of seven operating theatres and three procedure rooms. We treat high volumes of patients from various medical specialties such as: Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Plastics and Endoscopy.
The Alfred Centre team prides itself on delivering high quality patient centred care in a supportive and friendly team environment. Providing flexibility and work-life balance is a key priority for the leadership team at the Alfred Centre Operating Suite and we do not require on-call or night shifts.
