About the Role:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for primary health nursing services that focuses on the prevention, early detection, and management of complex chronic disease, social and emotional wellbeing, and health problems for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in line with Biripi model of care.
The Registered Nurse provides screening for patients of Biripi who access the GP, Dentist, Maternal Health, Allied Health and visiting specialist services, in a culturally safe manner. A focus is to identify patient preventative health, social and emotional wellbeing and chronic disease management needs, and complete clinical care as required.
