Registered Nurse – 6-month Fixed Term Contract | 32 Hours | Bupa Crofton Downs Care Home, Wellington

Are you an experienced RN passionate about aged care and dementia support?

In this role, you’ll work across rest home and hospital levels of care, building meaningful relationships with residents and supporting your team to deliver high-quality care every day. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a community-focused environment, values stability and continuity, and brings strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.

Hours & Roster Details:

• Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract until 1 October 2026
• Hours: Average 32 hours per week
• Shift Time: Morning shift only - 6:45am - 3pm
• Roster Pattern: 4 shifts on, 2 shifts off (6-weekly roster across Monday - Sunday)

Where You’ll Make an Impact:

• Provide person-centred clinical care for residents in this 52-bed care home offering rest home & hospital levels of care.
• Lead a team of caregivers to provide the highest quality clinical care.
• Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Stand up and tell us where we can invest more to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Your Person-First Approach:

You’ll help us make a real difference through your RN experience, personal passion, and empathy.

• Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
• Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
• Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
• A compassionate nurse who strives for excellence and to make an impact in residents’ lives.

• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
