Position Summary
Provides direct patient care in a clinic setting, working closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals. Assesses patient health, administering medications and treatments, performing diagnostic tests, and providing patient education and support.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Conducts thorough assessments of patients’ health status, including obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, and evaluating vital signs.
- Develops and implements individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Monitors patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Administers medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitors patients for adverse reactions and effectiveness of treatments.
- Performs and interprets diagnostic tests, such as blood draws, ECGs, and other relevant procedures.
- Assists with the preparation and coordination of any additional testing as needed.
- Provides education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, treatments, and progress notes; ensures documentation is compliant with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
- Coordinates care with other healthcare providers, including referrals to specialists, scheduling follow-up appointments, and managing patient care transitions.
- Adheres to infection control protocols and ensures a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Maintains required certifications, licenses, registries and designations required for the role.
- Works collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintains a safe workplace by following established safety protocols, reporting hazards, and participating in required safety training.
- Position may require travel to/from other locations. Ensures vehicles are operated and maintained in compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Knowledge of patient care principles and practices.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with
- patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant medical software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- An associate's degree in nursing is required
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the State of Practice is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- If the individual in the role will drive for work purposes, a current valid state driver’s license and required minimum auto insurance coverage
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred
