Job Description

Join Our Team as a Residential Registered Nurse (RN)!

Are you a nurse who believes healthcare is about more than medications and paperwork? At The Arc Lexington, our Residential Registered Nurses are more than clinicians - they are advocates, educators, and trusted partners who help people live healthier, more independent lives. In this role, you'll use your nursing expertise to support the well-being, dignity, and personal goals of people in our residential programs, ensuring care is thoughtful, coordinated, and truly person-centered.

What You'll Do

As a Residential RN at The Arc Lexington, you'll play a vital role in coordinating and overseeing healthcare services for people we support. You'll also serve as a resource and mentor to LPNs and direct support staff, offering guidance, education, and support to promote safe practices and positive outcomes. Most importantly, you'll help people maintain their health, independence, and quality of life while respecting their choices and individuality.

Lexington continues to expand and diversify while remaining deeply committed to our core values and mission of excellence – making Lexington a great place for people with disabilities and for our employees. Our programs and services include residential, day habilitation, community supports, autism support services, Article 16 Clinic, employment supports, guardianship, and supports for people with traumatic brain injuries. Also, a program of Lexington is Transitions, supporting teens and young adults with autism and other learning differences with college, career, and independent life. The Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts is a year-round community arts center for people of all ages and abilities that is also part of Lexington’s programming.
