We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality clinical care and patient support within a fast-paced healthcare and pharmacy environment. The ideal candidate will be clinically competent, detail-oriented, and committed to ethical and patient-centered care. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe treatment delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and clinical observations.
Identify patient needs, detect abnormalities, and promptly escalate concerns to physicians or management.
Monitor patient progress and accurately update medical charts and care plans.
Administer prescribed medications, injections, and treatments safely and accurately.
Assist with wound care, dressing changes, IV therapy, and other nursing procedures.
Provide outpatient and in-house patient care as required.
Support physicians during examinations, treatments, and minor clinical procedures.
Educate patients and caregivers on medication use, follow-up care, and health management.
Provide emotional support and maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
Promote preventive healthcare, wellness, and healthy lifestyle practices.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Prepare nursing reports, incident documentation, and daily clinical logs.
Ensure proper documentation of care provided and outcomes achieved.
Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and infection prevention and control protocols.
Ensure proper sterilization, handling, and maintenance of medical equipment.
Report unusual symptoms, incidents, or emergencies promptly and appropriately.
Comply fully with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) professional standards and guidelines.
Work collaboratively with doctors, pharmacists, laboratory personnel, and administrative staff.
Support efficient patient flow and smooth clinic operations.
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives.
Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Nurse/Midwife (RNM) qualification.
Valid and current NMCN practicing license
Diploma (OND/HND) or B.Sc. in Nursing
Minimum of 2–3 years nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, or pharmacy setting.
Strong clinical judgment, empathy, and ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic medical records is an added advantage.
