RN Surveyor is responsible for initiating annual monitoring visits, complaint visits, compliance visits, and revisits in the Enterprise Licensing Solutions (ELS) system or the software system approved by the Division. The Surveyor is required to gather information through observations, record reviews and patient and employee interviews; ensuring facility and staff are operating within the governmental standards for resident and client safety.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

Professional written and verbal communication (spelling, sentence structure and proof-reading)

Ability to stay organized and a self-starter

Current Arkansas Driver's License

Current Registered Nurse License

Flexible to change

Able to travel throughout the State

Salary Range: $75,245 - $111,363


Registered Nurses (RNs) provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health programs. RNs assess patient health, develop care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Primary Responsibilities


Assess patient health, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with medical orders.
Develop, implement, and update patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on health conditions and wellness practices.
Participate in multidisciplinary care teams to plan and implement care strategies.
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with health regulations.

Knowledge and Skills


Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
Ability to perform physical assessments and recognize changes in patient condition.
Proficiency in administering medications and treatments safely.
Strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas.

Satisfaction of the minimum qualifications, including years of experience and service, does not entitle employees to automatic progression within the job series. Promotion to the next classification level is at the discretion of the department and the Office of Personnel Management, taking into consideration the employee’s demonstrated skills, competencies, performance, workload responsibilities, and organizational needs.
