Priory Hospital Chelmsford is looking to recruit a Mental Health Nurse to join the team.
Priory Hospital Chelmsford, Chelmsford, Essex is a specialist mental health and addiction treatment centre providing inpatient and outpatient services for adults and young people, including autism and ADHD assessments. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes nearby and Chelmsford railway station approximately 2–3 miles from the hospital. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

You will work effectively as a valued member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, promoting the best interests of clients and their carers while ensuring prescribed nursing care is delivered safely and effectively. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive care environment, exercising professional accountability and responsibility, and using your nursing skills, knowledge and expertise to respond effectively to changing environments. You will work within the scope of your professional practice and maintain high standards of care at all times.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential for the role
- Qualified Mental Health Nurse with active NMC registration.
- Minimum of 12 months post-registration experience working within a mental health care environment and completion of preceptorship programme.
- Good understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements and professional standards.
- Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to change, improvement and delivering high-quality care.
- Ability to work flexibly and use innovative approaches to care.
