Guerlain Spa offers an exclusive menu of personalized treatments focusing on beauty and wellbeing while using signature products for facials, massages, and body treatments.

The Guerlain Spa offers ten treatment rooms with gorgeous pre-and-post stay relaxation areas with spectacular views overlooking Lake Ontario - providing guests with a luxurious and relaxing retreat.

ROLE

· Be an Ambassador for the GUERLAIN brand, its history, values and know-how

· Be a Massage Therapist (Registered) at the 1st Canadian GUERLAIN SPA

CONTRIBUTIONS & MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Be a brand ambassador

· Embody the brand’s history and values and share your enthusiasm with customers

· Represent Guerlain’s massage therapy treatment's know-how, demonstrating a high level of professionalism

Provide a unique treatment experience enhanced with outstanding service

· Create an extraordinary treatment experience for each one of our customers by performing the GUERLAIN SPA rituals

· Ensure you are always completely familiar with Guerlain’s protocols, products, services/rituals, and DNA

· Be an “aesthetic virtuoso”: offer customers pioneering and highly technical treatment and massage methods and techniques

· Customize the treatments with an in-depth diagnosis

· Build a lasting relationship with customers, secure their loyalty

Broad competences as a Massage Therapist

· Ensure that the welcome ritual is followed precisely, that the cabin is prepared, and that the diagnosis, treatment, service rituals and customer follow-up are all performed perfectly.

· Ensure professional massages are provided with a variety of techniques including but not limited to: Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, warm stone, sports massage, reflexology, acupressure, and lymph drainage.

· Ensure that you have perfect knowledge of the tools used for diagnosis (knowledge of the skin, muscles, aging process, global approach to beauty and well-being etc.)

· Achieve sales and rebooking objectives

· Flexible shift availability including evenings, weekends and holidays. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

Skills

· Excellent and varied technical skills (face & body)

· Good level of English

EXPERIENCE

· Diploma in Massage Therapy (or equivalent)

· At least 3 years of experience working in the world of luxury and Massage

· Knowledge and mastery of at least 3 different massage techniques from around the world

· Computer literate (Word)

Salary $50 - $65 per hour plus gratuities
