🎓 Qualifications Required: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards Level 5
📚 Experience Required: Previous management experience within an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home, including leadership, compliance, safeguarding, staff development, and operational oversight

Who we are looking for:
Our client is seeking an experienced and committed Registered Manager to lead an established therapeutic children’s home in Leeds.
This is a significant leadership role requiring someone who understands that managing a children’s home is more than an operational post. The successful candidate will provide strong practice leadership, drive compliance, develop staff, and ensure consistently high standards of care for children and young people.
You will be responsible for:
• Full operational leadership of the home
• Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations, safeguarding legislation, health & safety, COSHH, fire safety, and equality legislation
• Leading recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisals, and development of the staff team
• Overseeing Regulation 44, Regulation 45, internal audits, and action planning
• Managing incidents, safeguarding concerns, complaints, missing episodes, medication, restraint records, and risk management
• Maintaining excellent relationships with families, professionals, placing authorities, and the wider community
• Driving therapeutic, child-centred practice across the home
• Participating in wider leadership and organisational development
