Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care
Merseyside (Site-based)
Salary: Circa £40,000 (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established domiciliary care service in Merseyside. The branch is already delivering 1000+ hours of care per week, with a stable and experienced team in place. This is a great opportunity for a strong leader to step into a performing service and focus on maintaining quality, supporting staff, and driving further growth. This role is ideal for a hands-on manager who enjoys being site-based and actively involved in the day-to-day running of a busy care service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy domiciliary care branch
  • Lead and support an established team including coordinators and care staff
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and quality standards
  • Maintain and improve service delivery across 1000+ weekly care hours
  • Drive performance, staff engagement, and retention
  • Monitor care quality, audits, and service user outcomes
  • Manage staffing levels, rotas, and care delivery
  • Build and maintain relationships with service users, families, and stakeholders

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care
  • Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
  • Experience managing high-volume care services
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong organisational and communication abilities
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to work site-based
  • Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
