Job Title: Children's Home Dual Registered Manager (2x 4 Bed Homes)
Location: Weston-super-Mare / Bridgwater
Salary: £54,825.86 per annum – potential to earn up to £71,425.86 with bonuses
Working Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: Equivalent from £26.36 p/h + bonus potential
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs with EBD and associated complex needs
Qualifications Required:

QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People)
QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce (or equivalent) Experience in Years Required:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in residential childcare within the last 5 years
• Minimum 1 year’s experience managing and supervising a staff team

The Home:

• Number of Beds: 2 x 4-bed homes
• Location: Weston-super-Mare and Bridgwater
• Type of YPs: Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Trauma, Neglect, CSE, CCE
• Ofsted Rating: New homes – newly registered
• Ratio of staff to children: Small teams dedicated to each home

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and leadership across two newly developed homes. You will be driven, organised, and thrive in environments that require clear oversight, positive energy, and a young-person-centred approach. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape services from the ground up, building culture, teams, and excellence in care.

You must:

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulation, legislation and safeguarding practices
• Show confidence in managing operations, administration, planning and audits
• Be motivational, capable of developing a strong staff team, and delivering in-house training
• Have strong leadership, communication and community partnership skills
• Be enthusiastic, flexible and committed to the organisation’s mission
