Job Title: Children’s Home Registered Manager
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £52,500 per annum DOE + £5,000 welcome bonus + £5,000 annual quality bonus
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week

Service Users: Young people (up to 4 beds) with adverse childhood experiences
Qualifications Required: QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children’s Services (or willingness to start within 6 months)
Experience Required: Proven experience working with vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting, including leadership experience

Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead the opening of a brand-new children’s home. You will be responsible for building and leading a stable team, delivering high standards of care, and ensuring young people are safe, supported, and able to thrive.
You will have a strong understanding of safeguarding, quality standards, and the regulatory framework for children’s homes. A detail-oriented approach is essential, alongside the ability to advocate effectively for young people and ensure their voices are central to all decision-making.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can combine structure with creativity, bringing a positive and solution-focused mindset to the challenges of opening and developing a new service.
