Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technicians use specialized equipment and processes to monitor a patient’s nervous system activity. They set up, perform and monitor EEG tests which record the electrical activity of a patient’s brain over time. EEG Technicians work under the supervision of epileptologists, neurologists or other doctors. By performing outpatient EEG monitoring in this role, you will help to create specialized diagnoses to assist in creating patient care plans as well as help to manage patients with chronic conditions. Caregivers in this role often feel fulfilled and valued for their work and feel as though they are able to make a positive change. A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 7:30AM – 4:00PM, including an on-call rotation.
Martin North will be the primary work location, but floating to Martin South and Tradition will be required, as needed.
