One of a network of provincial community health centres, the NorWest Community Health Centres is a community based, non-profit organization funded by Ontario Health, emphasizing access to primary health care and prevention programs and services.
We are currently seeking 1 FTE Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) to join our interdisciplinary team in an in-person role at our Thunder Bay site. As a valued member of the Community Health Centre team, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of our Diabetes Program by providing diabetes prevention, clinical care, education, and self-management support to individuals and groups living with diabetes. Working within a collaborative, client-centred model of care, this role places a strong emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, education, empowerment, and improving health outcomes for the communities we serve.
The position has a competitive salary, the Health Care of Ontario Pension Plan, and an excellent group health benefits package.
The pay range for this position is from $72,039 to $83,187 per year. Compensation will commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
