INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Pediatric GI and Endo Outpatient Clinic, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system has a great opportunity for a Registered Dietitian in Northwest Oklahoma City, OK. The Dietitian Registered works to affect the nutritional care of individuals and groups by functioning as a member of the patient care team in the nutritional assessment, planning, and implementation of nutritional care plan for the patient.

The Dietitian Registered responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provides nutrition and patient consultation as directed by the medical staff
  • Assists in the coordination of food service and nutrition care delivery systems
  • Maintains notes in patient medical record which document care provided, including nutritional screens, assessments, instructions given, and patient progress
  • Attends discharge planning rounds on assigned areas and stays in regular contact with unit supervisors and nurses to enhance patient nutritional care
  • Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates nutrition education for patients; arranges for individual patient follow-up as needed
  • Visits patients regularly in assigned work area to determine adequacy and appropriateness of both diet order and oral intake
  • Develops a nutrition care plan which includes long-and short-term objectives, treatment modalities, education needs, on-going information gathering, and evaluation
  • The Dietitian Registered reports to assigned Manager.
  • This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Please consult the Physical Demands Project SharePoint site or contact Risk Management/Employee Health for additional information. Potential exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, and chemicals. Must follow standard precautions.

NZTI Only:

  • Manages parenteral and enteral nutrition
  • Acts as the intravenous access specialist

Pacer Only:

  • Consults with PACER members upon joining or on a recurring basis
  • Provides a diet consult to our VIP clients who are going through our executive physical at IBMC
  • Provides educational talks to our metro corporate clients
  • Attends screenings with our corporate wellness staff for education opportunities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:
•Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition, with an emphasis in diet therapy, human physiology, chemistry, and/or adult education from an ADA-approved program
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
•RD (Registered Dietician) or Provisional RD (Registered Dietician)
•Registration or registry eligible by the Academy Of Nutrition and Dietetics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE:
•Previous experience as a clinical dietitian
