Job Description

MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Hybrid)

As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, you will have the unique opportunity to combine clinical nutrition care with program management. In this role, you will oversee key aspects of our food and nutrition services, including compliance with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), while also providing individualized nutrition assessments, counseling, and Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to participants with a variety of health conditions.

What You'll Do
• Provide nutrition assessments, counseling, and Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT)
• Support participants with diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol management, weight management, and other health conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Develop therapeutic menus and ensure compliance with CACFP regulations
• Serve as a nutrition resource for staff and healthcare providers
• Monitor food service operations to ensure nutritional quality, safety, and sanitation standards
• Assist with CACFP compliance, reporting, audits, and program monitoring

What We're Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree and completion of an accredited Dietetics program
• Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
• State licensure as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to travel regularly throughout Massachusetts and occasionally to other states
• Reliable transportation
• ServSafe Manager certification required, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
• ServSafe Dual Proctor certification required within 6 months of hire
