Are you a food-loving, student-focused nutrition expert ready to make a real difference? Join our school nutrition team as a Registered Dietitian and help create meals that do more than just fill plates—they empower students to learn, grow, and thrive.
What You’ll Do:
• Keep everything nutrition-compliant, from menus to production records
• Work with kitchen mangers to place food orders, reconcile invoices, and complete daily meal data entry
• Communicate directly with kitchen mangers to provide recipes and answer questions about menu and compliance
• Provide hands-on support to food service teams during breakfast and lunch service
• Develop plans to support students with food allergies or special diets, collaborate with families and district health providers
• Be our go-to nutrition expert during state audits and reviews
• Offer friendly nutrition guidance to students and families
What You Bring to the Table:
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential and a degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or other related field
• 1–3 years of experience (experience in schools or food service preferred)
• Knowledge of USDA child nutrition programs and school meal standards
• Comfortable using menu planning software
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• A warm, people-first attitude and a passion for making a difference
• Willingness to travel locally to support schools when needed (several times/week)

Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Extended hours may occasionally be required in support of administrative reviews, client meetings, or special projects.
Travel Requirements
This position requires occasional travel to client school district locations within and outside New York using personal transportation. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required Access to a personal smartphone for performance of job duties is required
Physical Demands of the Job
The Team Member is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear; use hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment; and reach with hands and arms. May occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment. When visiting school district locations, the Team Member may be exposed to kitchen and food service environments including varying temperatures and operational equipment. The noise level in the office environment is moderate.

Monday-Friday 7:30am-1:30pm. Follows school calendar, no holidays, no school vacation weeks.
