We are looking to hire a compassionate and empathetic Registered Dietitian for their Clinic Operations Department. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Registered Dietitian coordinates all aspects of nutrition care, including nutrition assessment, individualized care planning, monitoring, patient education, and counseling across a variety of care settings. This role stays current with emerging research and best practices related to nutrition and health conditions, applying that knowledge to adapt to care plans and support positive patient outcomes. The Dietitian works closely with an interdisciplinary care team, fostering clear communication, collaboration, and effective patient hand-offs. Through ongoing teamwork and coordination, this position helps ensure patients receive comprehensive, consistent, and high-quality nutrition care. Schedule: Full-Time | 1.0 FTE What You’ll Do Key Responsibilities Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and group classes for pediatric, prenatal, and adult patients, including HIV+ individuals Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, health educators, and case managers while maintaining a patient-focused and adaptable approach to emerging projects and working effectively with children and families Serve as a consultant to the Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) for high-risk prenatal patients Identify and provide appropriate referrals as needed Document patient progress in medical records Develop educational and informational materials Establish and maintain community information and referral resources Build and maintain relationships with community organizations Attend CPSP case conference meetings as appropriate Assist with policy and protocol development Review and approve policies and protocols as needed Perform other related duties as assigned What We Are Looking For Qualifications and Skills Registered Dietitian licensed in the State of California Bilingual in English and Spanish At least one year of experience working with prenatal and HIV-positive patients Ability to work effectively with multicultural and low-income populations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to explain medical information in clear, simple, and easy-to-understand terms Ability to travel between multiple clinic locations What You Can Expect Work Environment Active work environment involving standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling Frequent patient interaction requiring clear communication and mobility Accurate documentation of patient notes, treatment plans, records, and reports Collaborative work in a shared office environment Frequent decision-making and positive communication with staff at all levels Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Pay Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Holiday Vacation and Sick Leave Employee Assistance Program Life Insurance (Basic + Voluntary) Tuition Reimbursement 403(b) Retirement plan with 6% match Join a mission-driven healthcare team where your expertise can make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families.
