Adelphi is seeking a licensed Registered Dietitian to provide in-person nutrition services at a healthcare facility in St. Louis County, Missouri. The ideal candidate will conduct nutrition assessments, provide individualized interventions and group education, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team. Job Quick Facts • Ref #: BD-892-16 • Profession: Allied Health • Specialty: Registered Dietitian / Dietitian • Location: St. Louis County, Missouri • Facility Type: Healthcare facility • Job Type: Temporary contract with possible extension • Work Arrangement: In person • Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week during daytime hours, Monday through Friday • Preferred Schedule: Four hours each morning, five days per week • Alternative Schedule (subject to facility approval): Two 8-hour days and one 4-hour day per week • Coverage: Weekday daytime; no weekend hours scheduled. • Contract Duration: 6 months with possible extension • Compensation: $30- $33 Requirements • Hold and maintain a current Missouri Dietitian license. • Maintain current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. • Complete required facility orientation and training. • Availability for orientation and training, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. • Before starting work, submit a government-issued photo identification card. • Complete a Family Care Safety Registry check. • Submit an authorization for release of information by law-enforcement agencies. • Submit fingerprint search results. • Provide a negative TB test (two-part PPD or chest X-ray) with results no more than one year old. • Meet the facility's pre-start review requirements Responsibilities • Complete initial and annual nutrition assessments for all assigned clients or consumers. • Follow up monthly or quarterly, as appropriate to each individual's nutrition risk. • Provide individualized nutrition interventions based on each client's nutrition and health goals. • Attend and participate in interdisciplinary care for assigned clients. • Communicate with Food Service staff regarding special dietary needs of assigned clients. • Facilitate weekly nutrition-based groups with clients. • Approve weekly menu changes.
