Job Description

Our Community Care Weight Management & Metabolic Care office is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our growing team!

Provide evidence-based nutritional counseling to patients as part of the Community Care Weight Management & Metabolic Care clinic. This role works collaboratively with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and Behavioral Health providers to deliver a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to weight loss and metabolic health.

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:

Plan, prioritize, and organize information for patient care activities
Perform nutrition assessments and individualized counseling for patients
Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) in alignment with patient-specific weight management and metabolic goals
Collaborate closely with Weight Management APPs and Behavioral Health providers to support coordinated, patient-centered care
Select or develop patient education handouts appropriate for outpatient registered dietitian services
Provide nutritional counseling, including assessment of nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement dietary care plans
Advise patients and their families on nutritional principles, diet modifications, and food selection and preparation
Counsel individuals and groups on the fundamentals of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and nutrition monitoring within a comprehensive weight management program

The candidate must be willing to facilitate group nutrition classes during the day.

Compensation: $65,500 to $85,000 annually.

CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in a primary care environment or a related area.
Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and state licensure.
