Job Description

Oakdale Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their team on a casual basis, 16 hours/week (2 days per week). The dietician will be responsible for creating the diets of patients and maintaining proper dietary standards.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Licensed Dietitian (required)

Essential Functions:

• Performs nutritional assessment of new and existing residents
• Develops residents care plan with measurable goals quarterly or as needed; updates care plans as required
• Evaluates resident's outcomes at least quarterly
• Calculates nutritional needs of all tube fed residents upon admission
• Consults with nursing department to evaluate needs of patients
• With the assistance of the Food Service Director: Create menu plans that both appeal to the residents, meet dietary guidelines and adhere to the department budget.

• Has sufficient endurance to perform tasks over a long period of time.

• Must have the ability to perform essential functions without posing a “direct threat” to resident or other staff.
