Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including periodontal therapy, scaling, root planing, and routine prophylaxis in a fast-paced setting.
Perform thorough clinical assessments, including oral cancer screenings, periodontal charting, and reviewing medical histories.
Take diagnostic digital X-rays and intraoral impressions efficiently.
Deliver impactful patient education regarding oral hygiene, preventative care, and customized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate, detailed electronic clinical documentation and patient records.
Work collaboratively with dentists and clinical support staff to ensure seamless patient care and optimal daily flow.
Qualifications
Degree or Certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Active Maine RDH License (or eligibility to obtain one).
