Position Title: Registered Dental Assistant – Prosthodontics

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Primary Location: NHOMS Nashua

Travel Requirement: Up to 50%, subject to change based on practice needs

The role of a Registered Dental Assistant is pivotal in supporting prosthodontists and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires a skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in dental assisting, with a preferred emphasis on prosthodontics. The right candidate will work closely with the prosthodontist, providing essential chairside support during procedures, maintaining a sterile and organized clinical environment, and upholding the highest standards of patient care and professionalism.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist chairside proficiently during a variety of prosthodontic procedures, including impressions, restorations, and laboratory coordination.
  • Prepare, break down, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments to maintain optimal hygiene standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations to guarantee a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Capture high-quality radiographic images and maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Provide patients with clear pre- and post-procedure care instructions to support their comfort and recovery.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and charting to ensure continuity of care and smooth clinical operations.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • High School Diploma and reliable transportation are required.
  • Strong motivation to learn, with a genuine passion for patient care and clinical excellence.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant required, with prosthodontic or restorative experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support clinic operations.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Required Qualifications

  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid Radiology certification
  • New Hampshire Medical Technician (MedTech) certification
  • Massachusetts Dental Assistant License

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay: $24.50-$30.00 per hour.
