Position Summary
Wichita Falls Endodontics is seeking a dependable and experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the doctor during endodontic procedures while helping maintain an efficient, organized, and patient-focused clinical environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor chairside with a variety of endodontic procedures and extractions
- Take dental X-rays
- Update and maintain electronic patient records
- Manage infection control, including preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Set up treatment rooms for patient appointments
- Assist with various office and clinical tasks as needed
Required Skills & Abilities
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification — Required
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety standards
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain effective during busy or high-pressure situations
- Willingness to learn and grow with the practice
Education & Experience
- Dental Assistant Certificate required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of related experience preferred
