Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Acclimate ABA is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing ABA therapy team. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Acclimate ABA, you will work one-on-one with clients while implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising BCBA. Services may take place in the client’s home, school, daycare, or community based on the client’s needs.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Hourly Pay

$20–$30 per hour

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications & Skills

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Dependable and professional
  • Ability to interact, engage, and have fun with children and individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Desire to learn and grow within the ABA field
  • Willingness to receive ongoing feedback, training, and BCBA supervision
  • Ability to work independently while following a BCBA-developed treatment plan
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, ethical, and high-quality ABA therapy

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Acclimate ABA, your responsibilities may include:

  • Provide high-quality, interactive ABA therapy directly to clients
  • Deliver one-on-one ABA services in the client’s home, school, daycare, and/or community
  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans developed by a supervising BCBA
  • Help clients build greater independence and meaningful life skills
  • Support the development of communication, daily living, toileting, social, emotional regulation, play, and vocational skills
  • Teach communication skills and appropriate replacement behaviors using evidence-based ABA strategies
  • Follow behavior intervention plans and treatment protocols
  • Accurately collect and record session data
  • Complete detailed and timely session notes
  • Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA regarding client progress and concerns
  • Reliably attend scheduled RBT therapy sessions
  • Participate in ongoing RBT training and BCBA supervision
  • Collaborate professionally with families, BCBAs, and other members of the client’s care team
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards as a Registered Behavior Technician
