Job Category: Direct CareRegistered Behavior Technician (RBT) Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Behavioral Services – Milford Mill, MD  [ Mon - Fri 11am - 7pm Shift ]
NCIA is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Behavior Technician to provide direct care and behavioral support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a BCBA, the RBT will implement behavior plans, collect data, and collaborate with treatment teams across residential, clinical, and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior support plans and MANDT techniques
- Support individuals in developing life and social skills
- Accurately document behavior data and progress notes
- Assist with behavioral assessments and plan development
- Communicate with BCBAs, Behavior Specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Respond to behavioral crises using approved intervention strategies
- Attend Person-Centered Plan meetings and required trainings
- Maintain RBT certification and adhere to ethical standards

Qualifications
- High School Diploma with 5 years’ experience in behavioral health/developmental disabilities, or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to follow complex instructions and maintain accurate documentation
- Proficient in basic math and data handling
- Comfortable working with diverse populations and maintaining confidentiality
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record per agency policy
Certifications
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
- Certified Medication Technician (CMT) or ability to obtain via MTTP
- MANDT certification or ability to complete training
