ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an open-minded and enthusiastic intern to join our regional merchandising team. During this internship, you’ll be work with the VM Manager on the management of all visual merchandising, retail excellence and delegated store design activity associated with the delivery of the VM strategy and new store openings. Responsible for guaranteeing maximum qualitative visual impact of the brand at each point of sale in line with brand DNA and local strategy. Creation and implementation of launch and permanent merchandising tools and guidelines, consistently executed across both Travel Retail and Local Market in APAC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Visual Merchandising team on daily administrative tasks and specific projects
Assist with in-store visual merchandising such as developing key launch concepts, researching materials, and preparing APAC display designs
Work closely with Retail Design, Brand Marketing teams, Design Agencies, Contractors, and Vendors to enhance POS retail excellence
Responsible for creating and tracking purchase orders, as well as ensuring timely deliveries of regional productions
Coordinate with vendors regarding material samples, as well as overseeing the picking, packing, and sending of samples back and forth
Occasional need to liaise with HQ for specificity on materials and finishing samples from France for regional production or specific delivery for market needs
MAIN MISSION
1. Product Launch
Ensure weekly all central guidelines and technical details are maintained and that specific markets folders are always up to speed with the latest information
Support technical adaptation of central visual merchandising guidelines across the regional (3 axis: Fragrance, Make-up and Skincare)
Maintain Soft Merchandising 3D Assets based on campaign cadence in the regional
Depending on sketch-up skills, to support in designing of regionally product POSM based on monthly launches.
Support in artwork updates and changes based on campaign drops depending on adobe illustrator or in-design skills
2. Animations/Events
Design support on SPP or small podiums on sketch-up, depending on skills sets
Join-in trade plan brainstorming plans/sessions for retailtainment activities by collaborating with marketing and commercial teams
Organised internal visit to competitor’s pop-ups in Singapore
Post-campaign process support for photo/video execution to be maintained and submitted by market
3. Visual Merchandising Operation
Support VM Manager in briefing / managing regional productions to both market and external vendor
Support on the POSM shipment, cost tracking, and PO creation.
Coordinate timely delivery of merchandising produced regionally
Worked with vendors/contractors on brand’s POSM guide that will affect dimensions, cropping, and review for production & installation
4. Administrative
Monthly merchandising’s Meeting Agenda to be shared across all regions
To follow-up with meeting minutes during merchandising monthly meetings
Launch merchandising surveys across regions
Key point of tracking status and organising inventory count of office POS and display configuration
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Internship durations: Jul – Dec 2026 on full time basis
Genuine interest in the beauty industry
Demonstrate strong communication skills with different functional teams.
Showcase problem-solving and project management skills, attention to detail.
Strong accountability and ability to work independently when required.
High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office PowerPoint, and basic proficiency in MS Office Excel. Proficiency with Sketchup will be preferred.
3D design knowledge will be a plus.
Basic Design software skills require (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and SketchUp)
