JOB PURPOSE:
The Regional Vice President at PeopleReady is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance across their designated region. This position plays a crucial role in implementing the strategic objectives and ensuring the attainment of revenue, profitability, and growth targets within their assigned regions. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Regional Vice President is entrusted with managing a team of market managers, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure consistent execution of the company’s vision and objectives. The RVP plays a critical role in enhancing shareholder value through operational excellence and strategic leadership.
LOCATION: Must reside within the assigned territory (UT, WY, CO, NM, ND, SD, KS, OH, TX, LA, AR, MS, MO, IL, IA, MN, WI). Strong preference for applicants residing in TX
JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Revenue Generation: Develop and implement comprehensive plans to attract and expand local and national account customers, ensuring achievement of revenue, gross margin, and net operating income (NOI) targets for the region.
- Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate strategic partnerships to build, grow, and sustain profitable relationships with key accounts.
- Accountability and Team Development: Foster a culture of accountability, emphasizing team success and individual responsibility. Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team that embraces ambitious goals and maintains high standards.
- Performance Management: Transparently manage team performance, providing clear expectations, coaching, and corrective actions as necessary to achieve results.
- Business Optimization: Make informed decisions to optimize business outcomes, leveraging market insights and reallocating resources as needed.
- Delegation and Ownership: Delegate responsibilities to empower ownership and foster confidence among team members, ensuring accountability through effective tracking and feedback.
- Promote Organizational Culture: Promote a culture of safety, diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect among employees, associates, and customers.
- Change Leadership: Lead organizational change initiatives with clarity and motivation, articulating the direction and purpose behind strategic shifts.
- Compliance and Satisfaction Goals: Take responsibility for meeting safety, compliance, JobStack, associate satisfaction, and customer satisfaction goals within the region.
CORE KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated sales expertise with a track record of leading teams that effectively attract and serve local, regional, and national accounts, achieving strong financial results.
- Experience in shared services and/or the staffing industry is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage a profit and loss statement in response to current business conditions, and adeptness in developing compelling business cases for new opportunities.
- Exhibits qualities aligned with TBI’s values, including excellent judgment, strong business acumen, and the ability to prioritize amidst competing demands.
- Skilled in delivering presentations to diverse audiences, including customers, employees, and executive teams.
- Demonstrated strategic vision and proficiency in leveraging technology to enhance business operations, driving revenue growth, customer retention, and operational efficiency.
- High level of enthusiasm for business development, coupled with a resilient ability to navigate challenges.
- Lead formal business reviews with key customers to assess performance and identify growth opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Experience
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within the service industry in sales, business operations, or related fields, with a strong track record of achieving financial targets.
- At least 5 years of management experience, with a proven track record in recruiting and developing senior professionals in a B2B setting, ideally within a national or North American territory.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinker with excellent decision-making skills and the ability to leverage market insights.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
Licenses/Certifications
- Must have valid driver license, registered vehicle, and vehicle insurance
WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- The employee will frequently stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for extended periods. They must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
- Frequent travel (60%-75% of the time) is required to visit branch and client locations.
Salary Range: $162,200 - $202,800 annually, depending on experience and geographic location plus eligibility for incentive pay, subject to plan terms.
Please note that actual compensation offered may vary based on local pay requirements, and will meet or exceed state-specific minimum wage or salary thresholds.
