As a Regional Trade Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing regional trade marketing plans which deliver upon both Brand strategies as well as customer goals to support the achievement of regional objectives as well as, being the internal sales lead central point of contact for all trade development activities.

Job Description:

This role follows a flexible hybrid schedule, with one to two days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop channel-specific B2B trade marketing and customer marketing plans in collaboration with sales leads, including execution goals, customized regional programming, and performance tracking in accordance with supplier strategic objectives.
  • Translate national consumer brand strategies and trade development priorities into regional customer-facing programs and execution plans.
  • Identify regional market opportunities and competitive activities and develop customized customer programs and recommendations that complement national initiatives, address local business needs and mitigate risks.
  • Establish monthly/quarterly execution priorities, goals and tracking mechanisms
  • Foster relationships with supplier contacts and key accounts critical to business
  • Manage regional trade retail and on-premises budgets
  • Prepare and present post program performance to internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Assess effectiveness of market investments and reallocate resources as required to maximize return.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly selling tools and customer-facing materials aligned to priority brands and business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain regional execution calendars that align national initiatives, supplier programming, and custom regional programs with customer and channel requirements
  • Organize monthly and quarterly meetings with sales teams to communicate priorities, customer marketing plans, supplier provided programming, custom programming, and execution expectations.
  • Manage sampling budget and execution
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years marketing experience, preferably within a fast-moving CPG company
  • Budget and/or P&L experience with major CPG company
  • Excellent planning and collaboration skills
  • Excellent analytical and influencing skills
  • Excellent leadership capabilities with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Basic brand marketing and finance skills
  • Demonstrate good communication skills
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to build strong relationships with cross functional teams
  • Excellent MS Office skills

Salary and Benefits Statement:

Salary: $76,000 - $86,000
