BUILDING A WORLD CLASS TEAM STARTS WITH YOU

At the heart of CSA Group is a vision: making the world a better, safer, more sustainable place. It's been part of our mission for nearly one hundred years: from the first engineering standard for railway bridges developed in 1919, to more than 3,500 standards, codes & related products today.

Headquartered in Canada, with a global footprint of more than 30 labs and offices across Europe, Asia and North America, CSA Group tests, inspects and certifies a wide range of products - from every day househould items to leading edge technology-to meet exacting requirements for safety, performance and environmental impact.

Our employees take pride in making a difference in people's lives through the work that we do. We're looking for people like you to help make it happen.

These are your tasks:

Support Regional Advanced Training, including UK, India and Germany

  • Training for 61010-1 and qualifications such as MEAS - General Products are under the responsibility of the TTS. However, for more complex product groups such as -2-020, -2-03x, -2-040 or -2-091, the RTL could with a local mentor role provide additional support for certifiers in training.
  • Tasks such as creating Training presentation will be included and will require a higher level of knowledge of the English language.

Support MEAS Qualification improvement, rewriting MEAS qualifications to be more specific in respect to the measures and expected competencies.

  • This would be in cooperation with the PTL and might include dividing product areas between them.
  • There are over 20 different standards within the MEAS Area, and even more unique competencies one needs to know to effectively support our client and provide consistent certification work. Defining these expected competencies in a clear way, providing a clear expectation for each measure may improve the qualification process.

Support MEAS Qualification, through providing guidance on creation and delivery of Mock Projects.

  • Mock projects are needed for MEAS, as we might not have the necessary number of projects available at a local facility for scope expansion and training of new staff.
  • Mock projects need to be clear on the expected delivery and need to focus on the why and how the requirements are to be understood.

Participate in selected IEC or DKE standards committees (DKE K911 or K912)

  • This would be in cooperation with the PTL and might include dividing product areas between them.
  • Committee participation is one method of gaining knowledge as well as preparing the CSA Group for the future. By active participation, CSA Group also show a dedication to the standard which may draw prospective clients which get to know us through committee work.

General support to Operation towards achieving Technical Consistency

  • This would be in cooperation with the PTL and might include dividing product areas between them.
  • This includes answering questions on the Gateway but may also include email and local support.
  • Important for the local Ops Management. This is a reginal role – Technical support shall be provided both to the staff working out of home office and any neighboring offices.

Conduct a small number of Project PTA, for certifiers outside Europe.

  • The exact distribution of Project PTAs is to be discussed with the PTL´s on an ongoing basis.

Support Test Method PTA for MEAS / 61010 for local offices

  • This would include offices such as UK, India and Germany.
  • The exact distribution of test methods PTAs is to be discussed with the PTL´s on an ongoing basis, and might depend on expected travel schedule for the PTL´s

Support the development and upkeep of Technotes related to MEAS.

  • This would be in cooperation with the PTL and might include dividing product areas between them.

Support the development of Notices and Bulletins related to MEAS

  • This would be in cooperation with the PTL and might include dividing product areas between them.
