Job Description

Job Purpose

Bridgestone is seeking a Regional Talent Specialist to drive talent acquisition and talent management initiatives across the Africa and Middle East region. This role is primarily responsible for attracting and hiring top talent, while supporting employer branding, talent development and people analytics. Working closely with business leaders and HR partners, the successful candidate will help build strong talent pipelines and deliver an exceptional candidate and employee experience

Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to understand workforce requirements and execute effective recruitment strategies.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for early career talent and experienced hires across the region.
  • Facilitate role briefing sessions and define candidate profiles, selection criteria, and recruitment plans.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels including Bridgestone’s Careers portal LinkedIn, employee referrals and industry professional networks
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles
  • Conduct candidate screening interviews and preliminary assessments.
  • Maintain compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and diversity hiring practices.
  • Build regional talent communities and succession pipelines.
  • Maintain candidate databases and talent maps for future hiring needs.
  • Oversee internal and external audits related to recruitment
  • Recruitment forms 70% of this role

Employer Branding & Attraction

  • Activate and promote Bridgestone's Employee Referral Programme.
  • Support employer branding initiatives such as career fairs, social media branding, and partnering with industry professional bodies to promote Bridgestone as the employer of choice
  • Collaborate with TA COE peers, Marketing and HR teams to strengthen the employer value proposition (EVP).
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Data Analytics

  • Monitor and report on recruitment, talent & performance management KPIs
  • Maintain accurate records within SuccessFactors and talent management systems.
  • Prepare regular reports on recruitment activity and talent metrics.
  • Ensure data integrity across recruitment and talent processes.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Talent Management Support

  • Support regional execution of Talent & Performance processes.
  • Assist in talent review preparation and administration.
  • Support internal mobility initiatives and career development activities.
  • Coordinate leadership development programme logistics and communications and support with facilitation of workshops.
  • Support regional teammate engagement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial psychology/ Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4-6 years' experience in recruitment and talent management.
  • Experience using talent management and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and candidate assessment techniques.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting regional or multi-national recruitment activities.
  • Employer branding and recruitment marketing experience.
  • SAP SuccessFactors system experience.
  • Data Analytics/HRIS.
