Job Description

The Regional Supply Planner is responsible for developing and executing the monthly acetic anhydride, ethyl acetate and OMSD affiliated products plan as part of the monthly S&OP process to meet customer requirements while minimizing distribution costs.

Responsibilities

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

  • Develop a rolling production plan for EMEA IC and OMSD product lines to meet demand requirements for monthly S&OP including supply meetings, available production capacity, shipping requirements, establishing monthly loading plans and managing 3rd party supply
  • Manage IC and OMSD products produced and/or sold within EMEA and key raw material (RM) inventory to ensure strategic imperatives and key working capital metrics are met
  • Conduct regional OMSD S&OP meetings monthly to balance demand and supply
  • Run planning scenarios and develop recommended solutions to meet business needs
  • Optimize distribution costs related to monthly supply planning including site sourcing plans and utilization of 3rd party tanks and terminals
  • Plan and optimize EMEA RM and finished goods requirements including requisition entry and purchase order (PO) management
  • Develop contingency plans with recommendations to mitigate supply risks
  • Maintain SAP R/3 MRP data for supply and inventory
  • Lead special projects to improve processes and reduce costs

  • Supply planning expertise with relevant university degree
  • Drive to deliver results
  • Ability to quickly and concisely state problems and identify root cause and solutions
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of the Intermediate Chemistry (IC) business
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong internal and external negotiation skills
  • Customer‑focused mindset
  • Fluent in German (plus)
