AHRC NYC is seeking a Regional Supervisor for Hudson River Services to help oversee intercompany facilities in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The Account Coordinator (AC) is responsible to assist in the day-to-day operations of Hudson River Services (HRS); to oversee that HRS is in compliance with all aspect of the contracts awarded to the department.

Essential Responsibilities:
Supervision of HRS Production Specialists, Direct Labor employees and participants. This will include scheduling, daily communication with staff and problem solving. The AC must demonstrate the ability to provide practical solutions to immediate problems.
Oversee contracts: The AC is responsible for all aspects of contracts. It is a requirement to complete a quality control sheet on a monthly basis (more frequently when needed). The results of the inspection are to be addressed with on-site staff and follow up visit, to ensure compliance, to be schedule at that time. All problems/issues must be clearly documented.
When necessary the AC may have to cover work shifts in the work schedule. This employee will also have to display the ability to complete necessary work tasks, such as strip and wax floors and steam clean carpets etc.
Communication is extremely important. The process required will be a weekly face-to-face meeting with the manager of HRS; at that time files will also be submitted for inspection. Communication to your staff should, when possible, be done in writing.
The AC is responsible to ensure that billing is complete. This will include follow up on accounts that are past due. Also must maintain accurate inventory and equipment lists.
The AC is a salaried position and will be required to work a flexible schedule. A salaried position and will be required to work a flexible schedule. A salaried position is a management job where you must complete all of your work and responsibilities in whatever time it takes, rather than a regular “9am-5pm” job.
The AC will also be required to develop contracts and other new business in the private sector. For this you will need knowledge of janitorial manpower and the ability to correlate manpower and working hours to productivity.
Must be highly motivated and have the ability to take charge.
Must have excellent communicating skills.

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, if needed
Valid NY or Tri - State Driver’s License preferred, with own transportation.
