The Opportunity

This position works out of our Singapore location in the Diagnostics division. Our Diagnostics business delivers innovative solutions that help healthcare professionals make faster, more informed decisions to improve patient outcomes. As the Strategic Pricing Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to drive strategic pricing initiatives across the region, partnering closely with commercial teams to optimize pricing strategies, improve margins, and enhance competitiveness. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role that influences major deal decisions and supports sustainable business growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and implement strategic pricing initiatives across the region
  • Partner with commercial teams on customer visits, negotiations, and deal structuring
  • Identify and deliver Gross Margin Improvement initiatives
  • Develop, standardize, and document pricing policies and processes
  • Drive annual pricing processes, including price increase planning, execution, and tracking
  • Establish and maintain standardized price schedules across product categories (assays, instruments, services, disposables)
  • Conduct pricing based on local market dynamics while aligning with global requirements, including segmentation (public vs private)
  • Build and maintain competitor pricing databases and benchmarking tools
  • Perform pricing analytics to identify trends and inform future deal strategies
  • Conduct win/loss analysis of large strategic deals and provide actionable insights to commercial teams
  • Utilize pricing tools and systems to support value-based decision making
  • Drive pricing for new product launches and challenge existing pricing using value-based methodologies
  • Support Quote-to-Contract (QTC) deal proposal tools, including troubleshooting for commercial teams
  • Leverage Total Value of Ownership concepts to articulate value propositions to customers Present insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders and selected customers

Key Relationships

  • Reports directly to AP Strategic Pricing Director
  • Partners closely with Country General Managers and Regional Managing Directors
  • Collaborates with sales teams on pricing strategy, deal structuring, and negotiations
  • Works cross-functionally with Finance, Commercial Excellence, and other functions on margin improvement, deal governance, approvals, and compliance
  • Aligns with global pricing and global marketing teams to implement pricing strategies
  • Engages directly with selected customers for presentations and negotiations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, or related roles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate insights
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Positive mindset with a strong willingness to learn
  • Prior experience working in commercial roles or closely with commercial teams
  • Experience in pricing strategy, commercial excellence, or revenue management
  • Familiarity with pricing tools and deal management systems
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience in regional or multi-country roles
