This is a unique opportunity to step into a dynamic floater role supporting clinics in our newest and fastest-growing region. As an Regional Sonographer you’ll work independently across multiple MFM clinical settings, filling shifts throughout Spokane, WA primarily, with occasional coverage in Richland, WA and Moses Lake, WA. You’ll enjoy variety in your day, the chance to continuously sharpen your clinical expertise, and the flexibility of working with multiple teams and environments.

  WHAT YOU’LL DO:  
  • Perform sonographic procedures. (No surprise there!)    
  • Cover a variety of clinical settings; including low-risk and MFM sites, outreach clinics. 
  • Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.   
  • Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.   
  • Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out patient/fetus anomalies.   
  • Communicate sonographic findings to physician.   
  • Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.   
  • Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.   
  • Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.    
  • Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.    
  • Other duties assigned by managers.

Please note that duties and responsibilities of this position are subject to change, and the employee may be required to perform additional tasks as needed.    IS THIS YOU?  
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty  
  • Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE) 
  • 1+ yr of MFM, high-risk OB sonography experience   
  • Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty   
  • Knowledgeable of applied physics related to ultrasound   
  • Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems   
  • Able to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team members   
  • Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress   
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future 

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?  
  • Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length  
  • Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
