Regional Service Manager - MWM Brno (m/f/d)

MWM / Caterpillar Energy Solutions – Czech Republic

MWM, a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc., is a global leader in highly efficient gas engine technology and power generation solutions. Our service organization plays a key role in supporting customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their energy systems. As we continue strengthening our regional service capabilities, we are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to lead our service operations.

You will be based in Brno while frequently travelling across the region.

Regional Service Manager (m/f/d)

What will be your task at this position?

  • Lead, motivate and develop regional service teams to ensure operational excellence
  • Manage Customer Service Managers and oversee both commercial and technical aspects of daily service operations
  • Ensure effective planning, execution and quality of service activities across the region
  • Drive performance through KPI monitoring (revenue, backlog, margin, EHS, inventory) and regular forecasting
  • Maintain an overview of team capabilities, identify development needs and support long‑term headcount planning
  • Represent the company in escalated warranty and goodwill cases, ensuring professional customer handling
  • Promote and strengthen the EHS culture within the service organization
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners and suppliers
  • Support sales and business development teams in identifying new service opportunities and developing service solutions
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes, compliance standards and business rules

What do we expect from a suitable candidate?

  • Technical or vocational education (job training, technical training or university degree)
  • Experience in service operations, ideally leading technical teams or leaders — beneficial
  • Strong leadership skills, including conflict resolution and team development
  • Good understanding of service business processes, customer interaction and operational planning
  • Business‑oriented mindset with basic legal and financial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus
  • High level of self‑motivation and ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel within the region as required
  • Fluency in English
