Job Posting Title: Regional Senior Compliance Specialist, Compliance & Dangerous Goods
Time Type: Full Time
The Regional Senior Compliance Specialist supports the Customs/Compliance along with Dangerous Goods team by gathering Customs/Compliance hours, creating essential documentation, and organizing system details into a centralized, easy-to-locate format. This role is instrumental in preparing executive-level presentations, assisting with data gathering on behavioral observations, and ensuring Customs/Compliance data visibility across the North and South America regions. Additionally, the Coordinator facilitates the sharing of Customs/Compliance successes and supports the regional team in compiling critical Customs/Compliance alerts, preparing details for monthly newsletters and development of work instructions. They will assist the Logistics & Dangerous Goods Experts in overseeing the safe handling, storage, and global distribution of lithium batteries. This role is critical in ensuring our warehouse operations and outbound shipments comply with stringent international and domestic regulations. The ideal candidate can assist our experts on lithium battery classifications, and training possesses the certifications required to sign off on multi-modal transport documents. This position will require travel as needed. (35-50%) Remote
The successful candidate must possess strong organizational skills and an in-depth understanding of documentation standards. They should have experience in data compilation and reporting, with the ability to translate complex Customs/Compliance metrics into clear executive summaries. Excellent communication skills are required for collaborating with site leadership across varied geographic regions. Must be a proactive team player with an interest in promoting behavioral-based Customs/Compliance. They should have experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management focusing on the handing of dangerous goods materials.
Microsoft Office (advanced PowerPoint and Excel) & G Suite proficiency is required.
For this position, the expected base pay range is $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
