Job Purpose / Objective:
The purpose of this position is to factor security concepts to secure premises and personnel for effective surveillance monitoring systems planning, developing and implementing effective security standards, strategies, policies and procedures for all business entities in ROIN having 130+ sites in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.This position will drive Physical Security Management System (PSMS) at various local levels (Manufacturing Plants, Warehouses, BU or Offices) for governance & investigations within the frame work of C/AUP (including Security Concept of Site (SCS) & consulting of local management), monitoring of adequate implementation of local risk mitigation measures (including security services delivered by FCM/SES or Guard Service functions) and conducting security investigations at local levels & support internal investigations of Compliance Team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Management:
• Region Point of Contact (RPoC) on region related security topics and issues for all Bosch Legal Entities and partners.
• International representation of country.
Implementation and monitoring of C/AUP Governance in the regions based on legal conditions:
• Driving PSMS at local level within the framework of C/AUP governance (incl. NITRO process
& consulting of local management).
• Analysis of local physical security situation and necessary risk mitigation measures based on CD 05210 and CD 05200 and input by local management / stakeholders.
• Coordination and driving of the overall PSMS at local levels (Note: Focus on risk management process, definition of necessary measures, monitoring and consulting).
• Cooperate with relevant stakeholders at the plant/ sites (e. g. PM, SES, LOG, DSO, HSE, ...); create communication and awareness activities at local levels.
• Analysis of changes in local security risk situations and real incident situations (incl. local int./ext. crime reporting, exchange with local authorities / network).
• Adaptation of PSMS strategy and risk assessment at local site levels.
Monitoring of adequate implementation of local risk mitigation measures (incl. Security services delivered by FCM/SES):
• Analysis of relevant local risk mitigation measures (Who, What, till when, root cause, accepted risk level etc.); Basis: Local Site Security Concept.
• Running risk based spot-checks (incl. consulting & training); support & consulting of local managers and service providers (like FCM / SES).
• Assessment of effectiveness of the security measures. Analysis of overall maturity of local PSMS, identifying major root causes for existent gaps; check the overall implementation of local risk mitigation measures and the competences of local security organization.
• Define risk-based and prioritized measures for improvement. Escalation of topics to site management, regional, business or C/AUP level, if necessary.
• Prepare event security concept and ensure smooth running of events with regard to intentional disruptions. Defence/prevent attacks against life of VIPs, participants as well as the protection of property.
Conducting Security investigations at local level & support Compliance Investigations on
request:
• Implementation of the C/AUP investigation process, taking relevant regional, business-related
or local topics into account.
• Coordination and running of security investigations at local level. Obligation to inform and support business/regional security manager about any relevant security incident (process details to be defined by C/AUP1). Supporting of compliance investigations (only on request by C/CM-Org. or C/AUP1); cooperate with legal and HR department.
• Check maturity of processes and possible room for improvement with support of respective departments. Align with process owners to prevent similar attacks in future.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Lead CSR projects in collaboration with the Bosch India Foundation to enhance Bosch's brand image, foster a positive reputation among the local population, and mitigate risks to Bosch sites in the vicinity.
Education:
(1) Bachelors / Post Graduation degree in any discipline with International Security Certifications, CPP/ PCI (Mandatory as per the C/AUP Cptm Curricula) or equivalent.
(2) Language skills: Local language and at least B2-level in English language
Experience:
(1) Commissioned officer from Defence forces or from Corporate with min 20-25 years service.
(2) Practical experience in security management in Corporate, Armed forces, Paramilitary or Police.
(3) NO Security-related (negative) entry in official clearance certificates (police, authorities).
(4) Experience in personnel management.
