Job Description

As an experienced and proactive Regional SCM Planning Manager, you will lead supply chain planning initiatives across Southeast Asia & Oceania (SEAO), working closely with HQ and local subsidiaries to strengthen SCM performance and operational excellence across the region.

You will assess subsidiary SCM performance, provide guidance on demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, and forecasting, and drive regional SCM governance, process standardization, and continuous improvement. As a key liaison between HQ and subsidiaries, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, address operational challenges, and support business performance.

Role and Responsibilities

Regional SCM Planning & Performance

  • Lead regional SCM planning initiatives across SEAO subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with HQ strategies and business objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate subsidiary SCM performance, identify operational gaps, and recommend practical improvement plans.
  • Review weekly and monthly demand and supply forecasts, validating forecast assumptions, inventory strategies, and supply risks.
  • Analyse demand patterns, market trends, inventory health, sales performance, and business risks to provide actionable recommendations.

SCM Governance & Process Improvement

  • Provide guidance and consulting to local SCM teams on demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and sales forecasting.
  • Establish, standardize, and continuously improve regional SCM processes, policies, KPIs, and governance.
  • Develop and implement regional inventory strategies, including safety stock, inventory optimization, slow-moving inventory reduction, and SKU rationalization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analytics, automation, and best-practice sharing across subsidiaries.

Business & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Lead regional SCM review meetings with subsidiaries, Product Marketing, Sales, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary liaison between HQ and subsidiaries for SCM planning matters, ensuring timely communication and execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Support new product launches, product transitions, promotion planning, and End-of-Life (EOL) inventory management across the region.
  • Provide regular business insights, performance updates, and executive reports to management.

Regional Projects

  • Support SCM-related projects and initiatives that improve planning effectiveness, operational efficiency, and business performance across the region.
  • Perform other SCM-related projects and assignments as required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Operations Planning, or related areas, preferably within multinational organizations.
  • Proven experience supporting regional SCM operations or multiple countries/business units.
  • Strong knowledge of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, Forecasting methodologies, and Supply Chain best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business performance, identify operational gaps, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Experience working with HQ and regional/local teams to drive SCM governance and process standardization.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong SAP experience.
  • Business-level proficiency in both Korean and English.
  • Willingness to travel across the SEAO region when required.
