Overview

Norbar Torque Tools, a member of the Snap-on Incorporated family of companies, is seeking a Regional Sales Representative to sell Norbar and Hi-Force torque tools and related industrial products within the Southwestern Region of the US.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an effective sales plan to introduce the product lines.• Qualify, build, and sell through the distribution network.• Cold call and sell direct within the assigned territory.• Make regular contact with customers.• Prepare call reports and sales quotes.• Maintain customer files, contact information, and customer history.• May attend conventions and trade shows.• May work outside of assigned territory to support national accounts and other territories.• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent• Outside industrial sales experience• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.• Excellent hands-on skills along with a solid mechanical aptitude• Proficiency in Microsoft office• Ability to learn various company and vendor windows-based software programs.• Ability to work well as a member of a team.• Overnight travel, up to 50%• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and walk/traverse half a mile or more through manufacturing sites or field locations.• Valid driver's license with a good driving record

Preferred Qualifications:• An understanding of pneumatic power tools• Prior sales experience calling on the power generation, heavy manufacturing, or aviation and automotive assembly industry.• Prior sales experience of an engineered-product, air or electrically operated geared power tools, or torque tools.• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for Assembly.• Experience building name and brand recognition
