The Impact You’ll Make:

Market Penetration & Revenue Growth

  • The Hunter’s Mindset: Establish and manage new leads, creating high-value sales opportunities and nurturing them through the entire lifecycle to a successful close.
  • Quota Mastery: Consistently meet or exceed your quarterly and annual revenue targets by proactively prospecting within both new logos and existing customer accounts.
  • Sales Hygiene: Maintain rigorous data integrity by tracking all leads, pipeline development, and daily activity via Salesforce.

Strategic Solution Selling

  • Relationship Architect: Create and sustain strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, moving beyond the procurement office to become a trusted advisor to the C-suite.
  • Market Intelligence: Deeply understand the competitive landscape and emerging market trends to position PlainID as the definitive leader in the Authorization space.
  • Territory Strategy: Develop a comprehensive plan to penetrate the EMEA market, navigating complex multi-national buying centers and regulatory environments.

Internal Synergy

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with all internal business units to align regional market needs with product capabilities and lead-generation campaigns.
  • Sales Engineering Partnership: Collaborate with Sales Engineers to deliver bespoke technical demonstrations that prove ROI in high-stakes POV’s.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Table

  • The Sales Pedigree At least five years of regional enterprise sales experience in the software or SaaS industry, with a proven track record of selling to enterprise customers in the U.S., preferably across the East Coast.
  • IAM Domain Expertise: A minimum of five years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with a strong understanding of Authorization, Zero Trust, and security-first principles.
  • Enterprise Sales Success: A proven ability to manage long and complex enterprise sales cycles and consistently close high-value deals.
  • Consensus Seller: Experience managing multiple buying groups within an account, both tactically and strategically, to support land-and-expand opportunities across new prospects and existing customers.
  • Negotiation Prowess: Advanced negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex legal, financial, security, and procurement processes.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to command a room and simplify complex technical concepts for executive audiences.
  • Operational Agility: Proven success in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where adaptability, accountability, and initiative are essential.
  • The Drive: A genuine passion for sales and the thrill of building new relationships, opening doors, and winning new business.

Logistics & The "Extra Mile"

  • Work Style: Willingness to work from a home office with the self-discipline to manage a remote territory effectively.
  • Mobility: Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the region to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • The "Black Book": An extensive network of contacts and established relationships within the Software Enterprise and SaaS ecosystems.
  • Multilingual: Fluency in major European languages (German, French, or Spanish) is a significant advantage.
