Job Description

The Dassault Falcon Jet MRO Regional Sales Manager (RSM) Northeast region is effectively the company’s storefront in the field. They are the external representative for our company to our target market of Falcon Jet owners, operators, and our vendors, business partners and to the business aviation industry and communities. The successful RSM should be professional in their appearance, dress and hygiene. They must make a good first impression and be articulate and knowledgeable about our company, our family of Falcon Jet aircraft, our business, our industry and our customer’s and their aviation servicing needs. Moreover, they should be approachable, friendly and outgoing and possess superior interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Their business practices, ethics, methodologies and personal lives must be beyond reproach.

Principal Duties:

  • Directly responsible for selling the company’s products to our target market of Falcon aircraft operators and owners and for attaining the company’s sales objectives within their assigned sales territories.
  • Working from a home-based office each RSM must regularly travel throughout their sales territory for the purpose of personally meeting with our Falcon owners and operators to prospect and identify sales opportunities.
  • Firmly establish Dassault Falcon Jet MRO Services and themselves as the first choice for Falcon aircraft maintenance and modification services.
  • Differentiate both themselves and Dassault Falcon Jet MRO Services from other service organizations and their representatives.
  • Develop close personal relationships with our customers and prospects by befriending and entertaining them.
  • Identify business opportunities and prepare detailed request for proposals in a timely manner through our sales process.
  • Manage, follow up and seek to close these opportunities in accordance with the established sales process.
  • Manage and promptly report and reconcile their travel and expense budgets.
  • Represent the company at industry events and functions.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum of ten years of business aviation sales experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Falcon aircraft and their maintenance requirements and be conversationally intelligent about the services that we provide for these aircraft.
  • Requires initiative and the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Must be results oriented and have a strong desire to be successful in all of their endeavors.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Individuals without a four-year degree can substitute extensive business aviation and/or military experience in lieu of the degree.
  • Airframe and power plant licenses and piloting experience is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of software, be thoroughly knowledgeable of the internet and must use possess the ability to effectively utilize the Falcon Jet Seibel Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system on a day-to-day basis.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

    • Specific knowledge of the Dassault Falcon product line
    • Formal Sales training
    • FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.

      Compensation and Benefits

      The compensation for this position typically falls between $104,000 and $130,000 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus and sales commission. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
