Job Description

Reporting to the Country Manager, the Regional Sales Manager drives sales performance and market success for Tesla Korea by leading all sales teams, including stores and Inside Sales. This role delivers exceptional results through strategic planning, team development, and operational excellence, translating Tesla’s global objectives into actionable regional plans. The Regional Sales Manager is accountable for enhancing brand awareness, market share, profitability, and customer experience. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth across online and offline channels, leveraging order backlogs through targeted campaigns to boost conversion rates
  • Drive continuous improvement by collecting feedback, testing innovative sale approaches, and optimizing customer flow in stores operations

Operational Excellence:

  • Uphold high operational standards by coaching teams to meet performance targets and reinforcing best practices
  • Ensure compliance with local sales and registration requirements, demonstrating fluency in relevant processes
  • Maintain safety and security standards through collaboration with EHS, Workplace, and Security teams
  • Use reports and dashboards to guide strategic decisions, implement process improvements, and provide concise updates to align with HQ directives and training programs

Cross-functional Performance and Collaboration:

  • Partner with senior leadership to streamline sales and delivery processes, improving efficiency and customer experience
  • Work closely with Sales Analytics, Demand Generations (Marketing), Delivery, and Service Team

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate high-performing teams, managing people-leaders across retail and delivery locations nationwide
  • Foster a culture of excellence through training, talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee engagement
  • Provide on-site coaching and real-time feedback to enhance team performance and accountability

Customer Engagement:

  • Implement best practices for pre-delivery customer communication and education to boost team productivity and drive high-yield sales and delivery operations

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading multi-site teams in a high-growth retail or service-focused industry
  • Proven ability to inspire, influence, and build trusted relationships, fostering team accountability and collaboration to achieve business goals
  • Strong prioritization and project management skills, with a track record of meeting critical deadlines
  • Innovative and adaptable, with a resourceful approach to solving complex challenges and a willingness to embrace change
  • Data-driven, with experience managing complex processes using analytical skills, logic, and instincts to identify and execute solutions
