The Role:
As a Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving Aegon’s growth in the adviser market, owning and developing relationships with a portfolio of high-value IFA clients across your region. You’ll bring our platform and investment proposition to life, working in partnership with advisers to help shape their strategies and deliver better outcomes for their clients.
This is a strategic, commercially focused role where success comes from building credibility, spotting opportunities and influencing decision-making at a senior level. You’ll have the autonomy to lead your region, supported by two telephony Business Development Managers and both field and office-based Platform Consultants. You’ll take ownership of key accounts and drive performance, while playing a visible role in representing Aegon in the market.

Key Responsibilities include:
Lead and deliver the regional business plan, ensuring alignment to Adviser Platform objectives
Take overall accountability for pod performance, driving delivery against financial and activity targets
Build, own and develop relationships with a panel of key T500 accounts
Develop and execute an effective contact strategy to maximise growth and engagement
Identify, lead and close new business opportunities across your region
Represent Aegon at industry and partner events, delivering impactful presentations
Maintain strong technical, market and regulatory knowledge to support advisers effectively
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
A proven track record in financial services sales
Excellent understanding of the platform and investment market, with a strong knowledge of pensions (workplace pensions experience is advantageous)
Strong knowledge of the financial advisory landscape and key market drivers
Experience building and managing senior stakeholder relationships
Excellent presentation, influencing and communication skills
Commercial awareness and the ability to support advisers in evolving their business models
What’s in it for you?
We’re serious about your future and our enhanced pension scheme is now in place. We ask you to contribute 3% of your salary to your pension and we’ll put in 9%. If you decide to contribute more, we’ll match it up to a combined total of 20% of your salary (that’s 7% from you and 13% from us).
