The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for driving dealer/distributor sales
growth, expanding channel network, improving market penetration, and achieving regional
revenue targets for solar products including solar panels, lithium batteries, inverters, and
complete solar solutions.
The role requires strong channel sales experience, team handling capability, dealer relationship
management, and execution excellence in the solar or electrical industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Growth

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

Drive primary and secondary sales in assigned region
•
Increase market share and dealer productivity

Monitor sales pipeline and conversion
2. Dealer & Distributor Development
•
Appoint new distributors and dealers

Activate inactive dealers

Strengthen relationship with key channel partners

Conduct regular dealer visits and business reviews
3. Team Management
•
Lead and manage Area Sales Managers (ASM), Territory Sales Officers (TSO), and
Dealer Success Executives
•
Set targets and KPIs for team members
•
Conduct field coaching and performance reviews
•
Improve team productivity and discipline
4. Market Expansion
•
Identify new cities and growth markets
•
Expand rural and semi-urban distribution
•
Develop electrician, retailer, EPC, and installer network
5. Business Planning & Execution
•
Prepare regional sales plan and forecasting
•
Execute schemes, promotions, and market campaigns
•
Ensure stock availability with distributors

Coordinate with operations and supply chain teams
6. Collections & Credit Control

Ensure timely payment collections

Monitor outstanding and dealer credit limits

Reduce overdue and bad debt risk
7. Training & Dealer Engagement

Conduct dealer meets and product training programs

Train channel partners on product features and installation basics
