Overview

As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you’ll be the driving force behind sales growth and distribution across all channels in your region. In this field-based leadership role, you’ll train, develop and lead your internal team to achieve maximum impact. You’ll identify and deploy effective business solutions, drive execution against regional goals, and implement systems to track and optimize performance across your territory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of sales professionals to exceed goals by providing day-to-day coaching, deploying effective business solutions, and offering sales development through trade training days.
  • Manage key regional customer relationships, including communication of new item authorizations, category reviews, void management, chain activation, performance tracking, and data utilization to improve overall performance.
  • Design and clearly communicate expectations for all in-store promotional activities, ensuring alignment with brand standards and strategy.
  • Identify growth opportunities and deliver against key performance metrics for poppi within your assigned geography.
  • Partner with PepsiCo Area Sales Managers to share regional updates and develop actionable strategies to maximize execution and performance.
  • Customize and implement region-specific strategies aligned with company KPIs and long-term business goals.
  • Effectively influence and align cross-functional teams around shared goals, ensuring cohesive execution of sales initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of national and regional retail authorizations and mandates across both the PepsiCo Bottling Company (PBC) network and independent distributor partners.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $93,500 - $120,000.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of DSD/Sales management industry related experience (Consumer Packaged Goods, Food & Beverage, Retail, and/or Grocery).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) and experience using sales-tracking software.
  • Valid state driver’s license for the posted state or territory, and reliable transportation in accordance with State requirements for motor vehicles.
  • Travel as required for business-related meetings and field-based market blitzes.
  • Some lifting and the movement of moderate loads require 50-pound lifting requirement.
  • Willingness and the ability to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business demands.
