A Day in the Life

To manage sales team of 9 sales professionals across Australia and New Zealand.

Our Endoscopy business is growing and we have an exciting brand new role for a driven and ambitious Regional Sales Manager to join the team and drive growth for Australia and New Zealand region!

Reporting into the Business Manager, the Regional Sales Manager will lead, drive and empower the team to success. Your natural ability to connect and communicate will build, demonstrate expertise and maintain strong and ethical business relationships with customers to encourage usage of our products, drive sales revenue and market share targets for Australia New Zealand region.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned

  • Plans, directs, and monitors the activities of a sales leaders, sales teams and sales agents across Australia New Zealand to achieve established sales targets.

  • Develops and/or implements business strategies for existing and potential accounts.

  • Manages the day-to-day activities of the sales team in order to implement the organization's overall sales strategy for an assigned region.

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with all key account personnel and relevant functions in order to support selling, market development, service efforts and clinical programs.

  • Identifies opportunities and develops new programs to meet the organization's sales plans to increase market share.

  • Assesses need for the addition of new selling programs and processes, conducts competitive analysis, and implements strategies.

  • Coaches sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organization's products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures, and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant sales experience, with practical sales, business development and management knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics for one or more products

  • Solid knowledge of Business Planning

  • Expert understanding of internal workings of hospitals labs/ theatres / departments / key influencers and tender process

  • Strong strategic focus and ability to identify business prioroties

  • Advanced knowledge and skills within the sales discipline, with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organisation

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required
